Maria Adigweme, LMHC, CAP

Mrs. Adigweme is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addictions Professional with over twenty years experience in the Behavioral Health field. This includes six years as the Clinical Director of a local mental health agency.

Her commitment to the behavioral health field is evidenced by the quality of services provided over the years in various agencies in Jacksonville, both public, private and nonprofit. In her current position at Pathways: Counseling & Consulting Services, Inc., she continues to provide clinical services to Adults, Couples, Adolescents, Children and Families struggling with numerous issues. Maria holds two Masters degrees, one from the University of Minnesota and one from the University of North Florida. Maria is accepting new patients at this time. Daniel Button, MS, LCSW, ACHP-SW

We are pleased to announce that Daniel Button MS, LCSW, ACHP-SW has joined Pathways Counseling & Consulting Services, Inc. Mr. Button is a resident of Jacksonville, Florida and has worked in health care for over 30 years. He has extensive experience providing counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families in a variety of settings. He has worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, long term residential, community mental health centers and he has provided services for children/adolescents/families in school and home based environments. Mr. Button also has extensive experience in the hospice and palliative care environment counseling individuals and families with end of life care decisions. Particular areas of interest and experience for Mr. Button include counseling children, adolescents and families with end of life care decisions. Mr. Button’s orientation to counseling is client-centered with an emphasis on short term solution based services to assist clients and family systems with regaining their independence. Melanie R. Mickey, M.S., LMHC

Melanie Mickey, M.S., LMHC is currently treating patients at Pathways Counseling & Consulting Services. She focuses on teenagers, couples, and individuals struggling with issues related to mood, sexuality, trauma, and grief and loss. She also offers a bi-weekly LGBTQ mental health process group.
Mrs. Mickey is knowledgeable in many areas of mental health including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, grief/loss, LGBTQ issues, substance abuse, and recovery following trauma. She is an active member with various civic and justice organizations. She lives with her husband and two sons, and enjoys reading, writing, and anything involving nature.

Caridad Lancho, LMHC
Caridad Lancho, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor who focuses on treating anxiety, depressive issues, mood disorders and relationship problems. A bi-lingual therapist, Ms. Lancho has experience working with youth, families, severe mentally ill adults and forensic population in an inpatient and outpatient settings.
Her counseling approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused Therapy principles that she adjusts to meet her clients’ needs. The length of her treatment is determined by the client’s progress. Ms. Lancho also provides long term supportive therapy for the clients that need it.
