The professionals at Pathways seek to assist individuals towards the path of improvement by providing a conducive, non-judgmental atmosphere where individual circumstances are explored, understood and worked on.

Maria Adigweme is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addictions Professional with over twenty years experience in the Behavioral Health field. This includes six years as the Clinical Director of a local mental health agency.

Her commitment to the behavioral health field is evidenced by the quality of services and leadership she provided over the years in various agencies in Jacksonville, both public, private and nonprofit. In her current position as Founder and CEO of Pathways Counseling & Consulting Services, Inc., she continues to provide clinical services to Adults, Couples, Adolescents, teens and Families struggling with numerous issues. Maria holds two Masters degrees, one from the University of Minnesota and one from the University of North Florida. Married with three adult children, she enjoys traveling, music, dancing, concerts, football games and spending time with family and friends. Maria is accepting new patients at this time and providing telehealth services throughout the state of Florida. Most major health insurance plans are accepted as well as other payment options.
